The mechanics
How the pots work
Three shapes of pot. Same £1 entry, same rule that the winner takes the lot.
Cash rounds
£500→£1,000→£2,500→£5,000→£10,000
- Fill to fire: a £500 pot needs 500 paid entries.
- The pot locks the second it hits target. It can't overshoot.
- 100% of the pot goes to the winner. We take nothing from it.
- Free and paid entries have identical odds.
- The next rung can open before the current one has been drawn.
Charity rounds
£500→£1,000→£2,500→£5,000→£10,000
- Needs double the paid entries: a £500 pot needs 1,000.
- £500 to the winner and £500 to the charity they picked.
- Everyone picks a charity at entry, free or paid.
- Five charities on the board at a time from a pool of up to twenty.
- A charity rotates out once it wins, and another rotates in.
The big ones
£25,000→£50,000→£100,000→£250,000→£500,000→£1,000,000
- Stage one: free entries only, until the headcount cap is full.
- Stage two: a timed window where anyone can chip in £1.
- Odds never move, because the room size is already locked.
- The winner takes whatever the room raised, up to the headline.
- Milestone mini draws unlock at 10%, 25%, 50% and 75%.
Big pots
Free first, then the window
The room fills for free so nobody can buy their way in early. Then the room decides how big the prize gets.
- 1
Free fill
Entry is free and card free. It locks at the headcount cap, for example 25,000 people.
- 2
Room locked
Odds are fixed from this moment. In a 25,000 room that's 1 in 25,000, all the way to the draw.
- 3
Conversion window
A timed window opens. Anyone in the room can chip in £1, and the pot grows as they do.
- 4
The draw
The window closes, the winner is drawn from the whole room, free entries included.
Window lengths
£25k1 week
£50k and £100k2 weeks
£250k and £500k3 weeks
£1M1 month
The rules that never bend
- One entry per person, per draw.
- Free entry never needs a card.
- Free and paid have the same odds.
- Milestone draws include everyone.
- Refunds until the pot locks.
- 100% of the pot goes to the winner.
